Stained Glass Day and Other Adventures To Come

NEXT MEETING  - - WEDNESDAY  22nd MAY    14- Park Avenue,  Start 4-ish til 9pm.  Painting and Flowers.  Come when you like during the times.

Several of us went on a Stained Glass event at Bawdeswell GC last week with the WI, and I thought it would be lovely if we could also have a go.  The 6th November is free for the tutors to come over to the B & W  V H, and so popular that the attendance list is almost full as I write.  It will cost £25 for the day's tuition, plus £2 each for the exclusive use of the VH from 9am (starts 9.30) and finishes about 3.30 pm.  Instead of buying in lunch, we've decided to bring a plate each for a 'Share together' lunch to keep costs down.  Still some places left, but if you're not successful this time, we'll arrange another date, too.  These above are samples of the items we made, but the November date we'll concentrate more on Christmas decorations.   OR  Just half a day may be possible.

Ceramic Mosaics,  Painting with Acrylic, (but not as you know it) Making flowers and jewellery another suprising way (???), Macrame , Wet Felt making and various other dates are already planned.     Wednesday 24th April, 2 - 4 ish

Messy painting method, bring plastic gloves, apron (or wear old clothes)  any Acrylics and a canvas (9 x 9 is perfec,  bigger if your confident!).  For the flowers, glue and wire if you  have it.

 Looking forward to seeing you

The ‘interest ‘ list is as follows:
